Any clues how to unlock it ? i have all the other ships unlocked,but got no clue what to do for this one.

This is the only ship I haven't been able to unlock yet as well. Maybe you have to beat the game once with each of the other ships to get it? Has anyone done that yet? (I've completed four runs so far but can't remember which ship I used each time. Another reason it would be great to have a stat/progress menu.)

I kind of suspect this might be it too - that's what I'm working towards now. Failed at the last reactor with the Larva, feels bad man...

First thing that comes in mind is indeed finishing a level with horrible accuracy, or perhaps finishing all levels as such.

But thinking about it, it might as well be finishing the game without getting hit a single time.

Wouldn't make sense since you would be playing as the "stormtrooper"

Also iirc there is a "storm bolt" weapon too? or maybe just "bolt", dont remember

but anyway, having a "stormtrooper" unlock with hidden conditions is stupid since stormtroopers in the movies were inaccurate on purpose, but i guess all the dank memesters don't know that

Hi all - we've just made the Stormtrooper ship somewhat easier to unlock. I won't give too much away, except to say some of you are on the right track... ;)

so its probably something like finishing the game with low accuracy% using only energy weapons(you start with one)

and then the ship most likely gives you energy weapon bonuses but reduces accuracy

I managed to unlock it by doing the first level without killing anything but the Core.
Though i did it by ramming the core. I'm not certain if you can achieve the same by shooting the core.

Can anyone else confirm if you can shoot the core?

Just unlocked it on the third level. Playing as Pyro and used only plasma weapons the whole level.

I think it's just "finish with 25% or less accuracy" now, maybe...?

Test results:

-Killing nothing but the reactor and destroying the reactor using weapons got me nothing except for an secret achievement ("you are doin it wrong")

-Same procedure as above BUT ramming the reactor to its death (with berserker ship) got me the Stormtrooper.

Credits to you for figuring out how to unlock :)

Edit: I did find the reactor pretty fast. There may be a time limit imposed because of the name (storm, rush,...); cant be sure but SL0 is not that difficult ;)

I unlocked mine the same way; rush and ram the reactor. Due to the ridiculous speed on the stormtrooper (112!), I suspect it's speedrun related.

I'm not willing to erase my save data and unlocks to test this, though ;)

Just unlocked both Red Mist and Stormtrooper in the same run. I killed almost all of the enemies (I wasn't going to kill a turret), using only ramming for damage.
