is there trick to getting the boat off the beach iv tryed ramming it pushing it just seems stuck at same time i am starving no banna's no nuts no food other then deer on some the islands. even a fishing pole be nice

just press B, that the boat menu. and select the boat and place it whenever you want

You can also push the boat. Put pointer on boat till the hand shows then hit enter boat should move keep doing till clear, as stated above it is easier to respawn a new one.

You asked about food/fishing. The 1st fishing pole you make is made with bamboo-you get bamboo by running through bamboo just have your toon run through bamboo until you get some on the bottom of your screen it will say you found a exceptional piece of bamboo or somthing like that.

The 2nd material you need for a fishing pole is either 1 spider silk or 1 strong fiber. Spider silk drops from spiders & spiders come out at night on uninhabited islands you start off on a uninhabited island so you should find some there. Strong plant fiber is random you get it from plants/sometimes flowers.

The 3rd & final material for your fishing pole is ripe tree fruit. Look for trees that have light brown wood. You will sometimes see a green,red or pink apple/fruit on it. You just bang the tree with your wooden club & the fruit falls down. I think the red fruit is the ripe tree fruit needed for your fishing pole. You were asking about food so that kills 2 birds with 1 stone, now you have knowledge on how to get fruit & build your 1st fishing pole.

If you don't have a wooden club just gather wooden logs you see on the ground.Then hit C to open up your crafting window. Double click on the wooden logs then look at the picture in the crafting box on the left side of your screen it should have a picture of a club. You just hit craft button after that.The left & right arrows on both sides of the picture of the crafting box are for you to flip through the available items that can be crafted with that specific crafting material you selected. A little FYI for future crafting.

Grubs, worms, etc. can be found in little brown dirt piles you see on the ground. Once you see it for the 1st time you will know what they look like. Anyways you got to have a lure,grub, worm etc to fish. Just double click the fishing pole to equip then double click the bait to apply it to your pole then you right click or left click to cast your fishing line.

To craft the pole, you just hit C for the crafting window & then double click the 3 items that puts them on the left side of the screen then you hit the craft button poof pole is now in your inventory.
