Hey everyone!

As you may have heard, Salt 2 development is underway. We're still early in development but we wanted to go ahead and show you what we have so far. The original Salt was our first game and we think there's a lot we could improve and do better this time around. This is such great news! Can you please release a final optimization update for the first game though? I'm running a pretty overkill setup and this game is the only one I have that lags, and it isn't really even that demanding looking. I love this game though, perfect atmosphere.

The last update of this game was almost 3 years ago, so a final optimization at this stage is very unlikely, just to reacquaint themselves to the code will take them, many months.

Hope there will be underwater action and sharks etc. Looks great, I just bought the first one and am enjoying it. Will definitely be buying.

Can you guys at least fix the boat/ship ownership in the multiplayer of the first game? I can't put my things (e.g. chest) on my friend's ship and is really annoying. Thank you.

Damn that sucks, I just don't understand what kind of monster pc they had to test it on to think that it was well optimized enough for release.

So happy to hear! First one was/is awesome cant wait for the second one. Sank many hours and still am sinking in to the game without acquireing all items. Going after that elusive golden compass.

Are you serious? You never finished the first game. When we buy into an early access, we assume that youre fully developing the game. Won't be trying more of your products.

What are you talking about buddy? They finished the first. All the content is there the end game is there the campaign with the final boss, story and all gameplay elements.
Once they finished Salt 1 they went on to WWW and now that they have finished that they are making a sequel Salt 2... It went out of EA way back...two years ago i think?
This is not a Games as a service business model..... no dlcs, and updating the game regularly or any of that modern stuff. This is the good old we make a game sell it move on to new game etc. EA is there to help develop it, its not easy or cheap making games without any funding...

But just to check why do you think its not finished?
