P.S. I can see the link in the top post. I just find it unreasonable to register somewhere else.
I also had this problem. I was trying to open the display settings, nothing happened. Then once I started a game, there was a bunch of display settings windows in the game. Running linux.
- The black buildings - as you already said, are pretextures
- Black tiles near river - I think it'S also a pretexture
- Mouse is some space away from selected fields - thats a bit annoying, because I can't click the selected field easily
- The Informationpopup leaves the window (the screenshot shows a half seen pop-up)
Also I had some trouble stratig with the right windowsettings, but it worked after I set the resolution. Also the stuff mentioned by uberdaff.
