Controller support?
Will there be controller support? Seems like a really nice game to play with one.

I can’t play it without controller support as I only play games with a controller. I guess I will continue to play Starfield then.

Nah never liked it when it released, and still don’t about 3 or so months ago.
I just don’t like the look of No Man’s Sky it just seems odd imo.

Ah.. Yeah I kinda get what you mean. Like the graphics and atmosphere is a bit goofy. xD That threw me off at the start as well. It's a lot better with the reshader mod though.
I'm also someone who needs gamepad support as an accessibility issue.

You are looking at it incorrectly. Adding controller support will open the game to more customers... leading to more sales, ultimately more money. What developer wouldn't want that? But that's just my opinion. This game looks like it can be played really well in a handheld device like the steam deck... so controller support would really open it up to more audience.

More than just Console users use controllers, people with disabilities such as myself often need them as assistive devices to even play the game.

As an actual disabled person there is no need to makew others put mydisabilities before everything else. Real controllers (hotas etc. not console crap) are wonderful but NOT a necessity to 99.9999% of the genpop therefore unless your designing a game for console and later porting to pc its a waste of time effort and code. Controller support thats not already built into the game engine (in case of prebuilts like unreal etc.) is something that should be added AFTER framework and controls are locked in not right off the bat in order to make the coder work 3x as much for ½ the effort.
Also if you have a disability that requires a controller those particular controllers come with software that enables them in ANY game/software that they are needed for since they literally translate controller acti0ons into mouse/keyboard commands unlike console kiddy versions.

so yeah -10 still stands.
The dev is obviously intelligent enough to know what prioritizing means.

Asking the dev "Will there be controller support" is different from insisting it is a necessity when it is very obviously not.
