New ship soon?

I've sided with Bora for my first playthrough, and I'm getting kind of tired of the Crusader bomber, as I've been using it for awhile now. Right now, I'm currently on the mission where I need to pick up the parts for a new supposedly uber-powerful laser, and I'm wondering if I get access to any new ships soon.

You can cheat and use the console (numpad 7) to enter IM A CHEATER, to activate cheats, then RAGTAG to give yourself all ships. You have to go in the hanger and sell whatever you don't want to make space in the real hanger to select a ship. This also will give you a nice stockpile of credits. Note you need to enter the code while flying, then return to starbase.
