You can add your own 3d Models, supported formats are .b3d and .gmf. Exporters exists for a lot of popular modeling programs such as Blender and 3d Studio Max.

A Texture can be applied to the level.

The software uses OpenGL, it supports version 1.1+, it will run on just about any graphics card produced in 2004 and later.

You are free to distribute anything you create with RTS Creator in any way you'd like.

RTS Creator can make classic games with ground as well as space, 2d, and tower defense games.

There's no limit on the number of units that can be selected. Currently the engine supports roughly 250 units on the map at once. Improvements to this will be made in an upcoming release.

You can make your own resources and there is a HUD editor.

Different Races\Factions can have unique units as defined by the technology tree.

Is there Documentation of ALL Features?
What about scripting?
Or a Basic Language?
A List of Commands for Programming?
Or is it Click and Drop?
Who ist the developer?
What has he done before?
What Engine is it based on?
So many questions - so little to see on your website.

The reference manual covers 95% of all features, new features are added with each update.

The lua scripting language will be implemented at a later date.

Previewing the demo and going through the first video tutorial will give you a good feel of how RTS Creator works as well as the process of creating an RTS Game.

It's not based on any specific engine, it was written custom from the ground up.

i buy it and test it !
so maybe i can help you.
It's not based on an existing engine.
you can import your 3D models with 3ds max or blender (just converti it in .B3D format and put your converted model in your project folder and it work).
I don't know all on this software because we need lot's of hours for see all possibilities !
for units info editor (for give healt, cost, etc...) it's a little like FPS creator when you edit ennemie if you already test FPS creator you are not lost with that.
it's a good software but like i say you must test it for see all possibility .
i hope i help you with this commentary.

Sorry for my english i'm french.

Is this all futuristic or are we able to make our own units that are more mideavel. Also can we make it multiplayer. Can we get other players online in the game. Can we import our games to our steam game list. Can we make a campaign with sub mission like sup com. And can we make game lobbys like in sup com.

All the models provided are futuristic, you would have to either purchase medieval models from a model supplier or create them yourself using a modeling program such as Blender.

We are currently working on the multiplayer implementation, and it's not available as of yet.

I believe the only way you could import your game onto your Steam game list would be if your game were to get on steam through Greenlight first.

You can make campaigns and sub missions.
