A Texture can be applied to the level.
The software uses OpenGL, it supports version 1.1+, it will run on just about any graphics card produced in 2004 and later.
You are free to distribute anything you create with RTS Creator in any way you'd like.
RTS Creator can make classic games with ground as well as space, 2d, and tower defense games.
There's no limit on the number of units that can be selected. Currently the engine supports roughly 250 units on the map at once. Improvements to this will be made in an upcoming release.
You can make your own resources and there is a HUD editor.
Different Races\Factions can have unique units as defined by the technology tree.

The lua scripting language will be implemented at a later date.

It's not based on any specific engine, it was written custom from the ground up.

It's not based on an existing engine.
you can import your 3D models with 3ds max or blender (just converti it in .B3D format and put your converted model in your project folder and it work).
I don't know all on this software because we need lot's of hours for see all possibilities !
for units info editor (for give healt, cost, etc...) it's a little like FPS creator when you edit ennemie if you already test FPS creator you are not lost with that.
it's a good software but like i say you must test it for see all possibility .

We are currently working on the multiplayer implementation, and it's not available as of yet.
I believe the only way you could import your game onto your Steam game list would be if your game were to get on steam through Greenlight first.
You can make campaigns and sub missions.
