If you want a tip, try just always having your hands full of the basic items. Having the light blue briefcase on hand specifically is helpful because it lets you instantly recharge the science dealie. A lot of the time you'll show up to a generator and just already have the item(s) you need to fix it just by chance.

My own advice is -always, always make sure everything is full. If you need to get a more complicated item- try to make sure you've a) picked up its basic component b) set its station to recharge, and then grabbed and set the component to manufacture. It's -very- easy to get screwed if the game decides it wants a high tier component repeatedly- and asks for the basic component during one of the combinations (which can happen with the orange item).

Otherwise, patience, and pattern recognition. There -are- patterns to learn. And you can bait out certain attacks

The other part of this tip is you can partially repair engines one part at a time if they need two. That way your hands will be clear to do the above tip without throwing away something that's already in your hand and needed for an engine.

after playing 12 hours i FINALLY beat 9 level, going on 10 now

I was saying "i cant beat this thats unfair" on every single level i struggle with. But i was too stubborn to pass so i beated the hard mode eventually, and i have motor difficulties so like its a permament "you are worse by 90% in videogames than anyone else" debuff and i still got it. Its all about stubborness
