nikita name meaning
unconquered; victor
Meaning:unconquered; victor. Nikita is a gender-neutral name of Greek and Slavic origin. Translating to “unconquered” or “victor,” this name is a powerful choice to remind baby to embrace their natural strengths.

Dude there is literally a series named Nikita about a some sort of assasian chick. There are lot's of gender-neutral names in different languages.

Back in old days dudes with gender neutral names were viciously mocked because of that. Sashas and Valentinas especialy. :tearsRV:

I know, I understand, but due to the slavic nature of both Polish and Russian many names are either similar or same it sounds too funny or unusual to me. There is a male name Nikita here, and I just can't think of it as anything other than male.
I don't want to imagine a "mommy dominatrix girl" as like a futa or something, but that's the only conclusion my Russian mind comes to due to the fanniz.

Well, I don't know about back in the day, but I am turned off at girls with the name Zhenya, because I keep calling them Evgeniy and thinking of a dude. Maybe I am the psycho.

Expand your mind. Names aren't locked into genders.
Also, check this movie - La Femme Nikita (1990).

OP: "Nikita is funny to me. In russian this name is exclusively for males.:
Big brain reply: "Actually, check this old-ass movie written in french."

I swear to God, the need to "clap back" in modern age has melted people's brains and short circuited them into completely skipping basic reading comprehension.

The funniest thing is that I understand a lick of French, so I, originally, didn't even think about that. Only now that you have mentioned it, I laughed.

Yeah I remember liking that show... I think it was airing in late 90s/early 00s.

People have to understand it's two different names. Pronounced differently. Nik(i)ta (male name) and Nikit(a) (female name).

Yeah, I was going to say. I think Russia is the only country that uses Sasha as a male and female name? Every time I mentioned this to Polish people, their reaction was "WTF, that's wrong. It's only a male name!"
