No gamepad support?
I hear this game is K&M only, which seems silly given what I've seen of the gameplay (escaping guards, speed-run levels etc).

Will this game every get gamepad support? TMMT looks nice. But for 20 clams, one expects fleshed out compatibility and controller scheme flexibility.

Unfortunately, at this point in time, we do not support controllers. However, we will look into supporting it.

^ Controller support would make the game much more enticing to gamers like myself. Moreover, with console-PC's hybirds like Alienware Alpha, that come with X360 controllers, the game would avoid 'alienating' itself with these platforms.

I see now the game has keyboard controls / movement. As such, third-party programs can be used to allow for gamepad use (like, Xpadder). So the lack of gamepad support isn't as important.

Oh yes! That is right. Thanks

I appreciate that Xpadder exists, but I really feel that true controller support (such as X360 controller on PC/Mac) could provide vastly better support than mouse/keyboard for this kind of game. The analog input works so beautifully for this style of game.

But, to be fair, I'll try the demo (if one exists) and give the native inputs a chance.

The way the game is designed, I don't know if it would work well with a pad. It's just made with mouse control in mind and it controls perfectñy with it.
^ I actually have the opposing opinion -- gamepad is perfect for this. The only thing that using Xpadder isn't perfect for is the throwing of objects, which is a bit finicky. Though, that's more to do with the fact the mouse cursor dictates where the item is thrown and cancelling the action requires moving the cursor over the controlled character.

Agreeing with Scubakev, I prefer to game on my couch and was really interested in this game until I saw that there was no controller support. Seems like it'd be pretty easy to use the second stick to aim throws...except I'm not going to bother looking for a demo and will just check back in a month or so to see if it's been added.
^ Just use Xpadder or the like -- it works fine and the game is well enjoyable this way.

+1 to request for native controller support. This seems a natural fit for a controller.

There might be some surprise soon.... it is a secret... ;)

I came back this morning and saw 1. gamepad support! 2. Steam sale! Purchase complete.

Oh doh. I'm playing the Mac version and it appears that it doesn't have controller support, yet.

What gamepad are you using on your Mac? Did you need to install support for it?
