Glue is frustrating to use with alerted guards

It is really frustrating when you alert a guard and disable them with glue, but because they can't get to your last location they stay alerted and because they are alerted, Sophia will drop her hat and run panicked even if you are on the other side of the map. This wastes a lot of time as you have to wait for the glue to expire before they stop being alerted, so you can pick up loot.
