How to get F22 Lightning 3 and other Novalogic Sims working in Windows 10

I have compiled and made a bunch of compatibility fixes for most of the Novalogic sims including some of the ones not on Steam.

Most of the older Novalogic games are included except for the Armored Fist series. I may include those later.

For the games that support 3dfx hardware acceleration, I recommend using nglide. Also make sure you have DirectPlay enabled in Windows 10.

Also important note, the Steam version of F22 Lightning III is not the latest version. You can find the latest patch here:

I couldn't run it at all until I used yr downlaod...then it got to menu screen, I changed to 1920x1080, loaded a mission, was just a blank screen. Exited, ran it again, just crashed every time? Any ideas?

Hey man, I played some of these games when I was young and I'm very interested in playing them again, but i understand very little about how they work, nor anything about these compatibility patches and new patches. I especially wanted to play the F-22 raptor and F-22 Lighting 3 games but I don't which is the best way to do it, if it's on my Windows 10 or other options. The latter works since i bought it on steam, but isn't optimally configured, the former I can't even install properly. So, i was hoping i could send you a friend request if you're available to help me a little and also to talk about how the state of these game's community is nowadays, i don't know nothing about it and would love to play some multiplayer too. Thanks for the attention man.

I probably need to update this with clearer instructions. At some point I’ll reupload a newer version with Armored Fist 3. I think I included txt files with instructions for each game, but maybe they weren’t very clear, I’ll need to go take a look.

Did you install NGlide, the latest 2015 official patch, and the compatibility fix (has .sdb file in it and just run the install.bat) for F22 Lightning 3? I’m not sure if you can get full 1920x1080 in F22 lightning 3, I think I just used 1280x1024.

Also full disclaimer for all, I don’t really care about multiplayer, so see the other posts in this thread for help with that.

I had made this post when I compiled a bunch of fixes and patches from the internet for my use and thought it could help others.
