THE GAME OVER SCENE IS NOT THE END OF THE DEMO!

Nowadays, many players are so accustomed to action-packed games filled with monsters and fast-paced combat that they've drifted away from the true essence of what survival horror has always been. This genre, in its original form, wasn’t just about fighting creatures; it was about building tension, psychological fear, and a sense of vulnerability in the face of the unknown. The focus was on creating an atmosphere that made players uncomfortable, forcing them to think and explore with limited resources, while a narrative slowly unfolded, often through discovery.

What we see today is that, in the pursuit of expanding their audience, large companies have diluted and distorted the concept of survival horror. Fast-paced combat and action have been prioritized over crafting a tense, immersive atmosphere. What was once a psychological test of patience and fear has now become a more "accessible" experience, but at the cost of losing the depth and emotional impact that defined classic survival horror games.

When players today experience games that aim to bring back this essence, like mine, they may feel lost, walking back and forth until they figure out what to do, and mistakenly label them as "walking simulators." But if you’ve never played an older game, you’ll understand that the true survival horror experience was always more about immersion, discovery, and the sense of uncertainty than just "walking to pass time." What we’re seeing now is a new generation of players who, when faced with the original style, don’t recognize its depth and end up applying incorrect labels, not realizing that if they had played during the genre’s golden age, they would feel the same sense of being lost and exploring on their own. I’m here to bring that feeling back, rediscovering the true spirit of survival horror, which, when experienced again, will be far more impactful and unforgettable.

🆕 Innovation in Siren’s Well 🎮

🔬 Innovation is key!
To create something truly unique, we must build upon our inspirations while bringing new ideas to life.

🎭 Doing things differently
If we always followed the same formula, we’d just be making the same game over and over again. Siren’s Well dares to innovate while staying true to the essence of survival horror.

⚡ A fresh experience
With new mechanics, deeper storytelling, and a unique approach to horror, Siren’s Well delivers a terrifying yet immersive experience unlike anything before.

🚀 Survival horror evolves. Are you ready?

📢 Notice to Players 📢

The Siren’s Well saga and all other games in the franchise have no political intent and do not use gender-neutral pronouns. Our development philosophy has always been and will always be focused on delivering an authentic player experience, without adherence to modern cultural or ideological trends.

I don’t believe there are any sentences using such pronouns. However, if you come across anything like that in any language, please ignore it, as it is certainly an error from the AI used to translate the games. These mistakes do not reflect the studio’s vision and will be corrected as they are identified.

We appreciate your support and understanding! 💀🎮

🎭 Psychological Horror – A subgenre of horror that focuses on the player’s mind, creating fear through tension, atmosphere, and storytelling. Instead of relying on direct jump scares, it explores deep themes like paranoia, insanity, and the unknown, making the player question reality within the game.

🩸 Survival Horror – A genre centered on surviving against terror, where resources are limited, and every decision matters. The player must face terrifying threats, either through combat or specific mechanics to fight back. Fear comes not only from the enemies but also from the character’s vulnerability and constant tension.

Both genres can blend, creating unique experiences where the player not only survives but also feels the psychological weight of horror. 👁️

So, TRAUMA and Violet are both Psychological and Survival Horror games.
