How to donwload the "classic" version, if you have't brought it ?
Thank
To get the classic version, right click on the game, go into properties, find the "betas" tab, and opt into the "beta". It will then download the old version of the game, Life of Pixel without the 'Super'.
Agreed. That be more easy. To swich from one to other.
Or is there an option to play the classic version ingame ? Thanks for clarifying this.
And btw, dev, you can do this without shoving both sets into one game. Look at Senua's sacrifice and Skullgirls, and QUBE Director's Cut
Senua includes a VR version with its own set of achievements, which shows in the library as a separate game
Skullgirls includes an endless beta version, again as a separate library entry
QUBE DX has both the DX version and the original version, again as separate library entries.

Again, I only bought one game there: Skullgirls. The endless beta came with it and appears as a separate library entry.
Stupid, right? Why there's two sets of achievements instead of just one is beyond me. You may as well just force them with SAM and at least then you aren't wasting your time repeating things you already did.
The easiest way to do this was to upgrade the existing game.
Because a lot of levels had been reworked the old achievements couldn't just be transferred across to the new game.
Because deleting all the old achievements and high scores would have been cruel to those that had achieved them it was deemed they should be retained.
And that is why we have ended up in the position we have.
