Interesting, but Sony has proved that they can produce woke crap without SBI's involvement hhh. All they learned is that they never needed them in the first place and can hire them directly as staff.

Sony shuffled upper management a few months ago. Jim Ryan "retired" from Sony Interactive based in California and was recently replaced by Hideaki Nishino so the American branch is now being overseen by some one from Japan so its very possible that it is moving from left wing California "values" to traditional Japanese values and they may be clearing out DEI from the US divisions.

So far this is rumor from an insider but the insider and the source has been shown to be right on previous occasions.

no celebrations yet though but hoping to see a return to fun and good quality games for everyone

Don't hold your breath too much. Game development now takes 4-5 years. DEI junk will still be rolling out for a couple years while they course correct.
