Character just runs
Can't stop him. Just runs and runs until he hits a obstacle but keeps running.

That's called determination. It's an important quality in a samurai.
Have you tried to un-run?

Hello. do you by any chance have a controller plugged in or controller software like Vjoy ? others have fixed the issue by closing /uninstalling these types of software and unplugging controllers they are not using. very sorry for this, we are aware of the issue and try to get a fix asap thank you for reporting this

I do not have any controllers attached. I do have (but not connected) Logitech Wheel and Joystick, and LGHUB runs in the background and is active because it also controls my keyboard colors, etc. Thanks for replying, and I hope there's a solution.

I tried again but he only runs. I tried changing LOW graphics to HIGH and the program crashed.

Hello again, you could try and uninstall the drivers for the Logitech devices this might fix it
I also can't solve this problem.
I have turned off the controllers (such as Fanatec) that I use for other games, but it would be ridiculous if I had to delete these drivers.
Incidentally, I was able to operate the software correctly with the first demo version. I have been having this problem with the updated version and the official release version.

Yeah, suggesting I delete perfectly working drivers to accommodate this? When dozens of other programs have zero issues?

I don't think so.
I have just removed Vjoy only and it is fixed.
But people who use Vjoy in other games will have a very big problem.
And since the first demo version did not have this trouble, I hope they will fix it fundamentally.
I had this issue with the demo and now the full release without vJoy installed. I do use a Razer Tartarus gaming keypad in conjunction with Razer's Synapse software. When I unplugged the Razer Tartarus keypad, the character immediately stopped running. Since I only use my Tartarus, this was an issue for me.

Another thread had mentioned a solution with vJoy that DID correct the issue for me:

1 - install 'vJoy' (if you didn't have it installed)
2 - open 'vJoy Config'
3 - uncheck (disable) the 'Enable vJoy' option at the bottom of the screen

Hope this helps!

Thanks for ideas. got it refunded. There's not much sense for a $4 game messing with my system to bother. Best of luck to those who can play.

I had the same issue, and I didn't have to tinker with drivers. I just went to my bluetooth settings where my controller was shown as always connected (even when it was off), so I just unpaired my controller temporarily for the time I play this game.

To be clear, this was not my issue, as there are no bluetooth devices on my rig.
