So about 8.1 billion people were not playing it.
guys ignore those who come in from AC Shadows forum altogether. They will learn to not bother.

If that game would be that good, they would still be playing it, instead of seeking out a low budget parody of it to make fun of a joke (whats even the point of that?).

As i said in another thread, you are not correct. AC is not selling good at all. Consult the graph - 40k peak players. And ubisoft has about 20,7k employees. Do the math - those probably are just employees running the game from work and personal computers.
Any claims about 1 million players should be taken with a grain of salt

My point was simply straight-forward. Don't try to correct them coming in from AC Shadows forum AT ALL with sales and/or concurrent players numbers and anything surrounding it.

And even if they would be so proud of 1 million, Veilguard also managed about 1.5 copies (not total sold, as also a number were gifted) and still it was a disaster, since it is always a matter of budget.
For a low budget 20 000 copies can be really great, while for high budget 1 million can be a disaster.
Quick question: How many players/sold copies are necessary for AC: Shadows to break even? And how many more are needed to rake in the dough that Star Wars and Skull & Bones lost?

I'm legit curious, here.
Shnikeys! Thats a lot of nuts in your mouth. Im busy sir madam mr ms. I am experiencing feudal Japan as Yasuke right now. Your Yasuke Sim ripoff will never match the level of authenticity nor courage it took to make a proper Yasuke game. Legend has it, he invented sliced bread. That means the best thing since sliced bread is Yasuke.

He also invented cars, motor bikes and pistols to Japan, AC doesn't have this. It is more historical accurate.

For ACS to break even (assuming the $400,000,000 development costs, $70 per game and industry average cut that storefronts take from that $70 price): roughly 7.5 million copies need to be sold. Likely less due to higher price editions existing, though refunds are also not accounted for either.
You do realize the "1 million players interacted with assassin's creed shadows" INCLUDES LOOKING AT IT ON THE UBI+ SUBSCRIPTION lol... and lmao aside, cope runs thin my boy

You are NOT samurai.
Million players.. Usually, they talk about 'copies sold', but 'players'. You can already see something is off. What exactly is it? Program launch counts?

Even if everyone would have spend 70 bucks, it would be only 70 million which would not be enough for the budget. So I do not know why everyone celebrates 1 million, Veilguard was crying with 1.5 million "copies".

thats without even looking at the cost of marketing on top of development and staff wages
hell the delay from nov to feb cost them $20 million alone and it still got delayed further....
and there was three delays
the first 1 million sales will go to cover the delays alone
