I don't need to verify who I am to know what the data shows, and it's contrary to your presumptions. On THE ISSUES most of the American People are significantly to the LEFT of the Democratic Party, that especially holds true for people under the age of 50.
About the only area where that isn't absolute is on trans issues, where the country is about evenly divided, but even most people.
About a quarter of Republican voters associate the Democratic Party with foreign wars and welfare cuts FFS, they usually don't even know the policies of the Republican Party, they're more voting AGAINST a party that threw them overboard in the 1990's
Almost all developed capitalist countries have a social safety net because it's better than social darwinism, which is the alternative.
It costs society less to house the homeless, in fact with mixed income housing it pays for itself and returns dividends because most contribute to the economy once their basic needs are met, but hey let's just have people dying in the streets like a poor third world country because you're scared of the word socialism.
They had Bernie Sanders and rigged two primaries against him.
In 2016 he won every county in West Virginia, that would have put him in the lead but the DNC undermined democracy and called it for HRC. They were even sued for it, the courts ruled that the DNC could do it because it was a private organization.
The Democratic Party is a center right party, Biden spent most of his career in politics advocating cuts to Social Security and Medicare, he proposed a border fence before Trump ever suggested a Wall. Biden is YOUR definition of a centrist, but Bernie Sanders is the one who had the broad bipartisan appeal, not Biden.
Definitely, and the reason he won in 2020 wasn't because people wanted him or felt represented by him, it was a referendum on Trump. Just like 2024 was a referendum on Biden and Harris over inflation and foreign policy.
Biden and Harris both condoning or supporting Israel's actions in Gaza for example, no matter where you land on that issue you MUST recognize that it deeply divided the left and alienated millions of people from the democratic party.
If you really are critical of Trump, you must have also encountered cult like responses from people who seem to think Trump can do no wrong.
That "racket" was less than 0.01% of the federal budget and was primarily used as a tool of soft power as a bargaining chip to get other countries to act in America's interest. Without it the USA loses a lot of influence, and China will likely fill that vacuum in a lot of countries.
Not that that's bad for the Global South, it's just not good for the United State.
You realize NGO's are typically billionaire funded think tanks and propaganda groups that exist to promote the interests of US Oligarchs and undermine any potential rivals right?
If they have any association with socialist parties it's probably to corrupt them.
Anyone who knows their origins knows that they used to be the party of the KKK then switched with the Republicans when the Republicans adopted the Southern Strategy.
Anyone with a basic comprehension of their more recent history knows that Carter and the Clintons opened the flood gates of corporate financing into the party, and anyone familiar with their policies knows that Blue Dog Democrats have been keeping them locked in for decades.
I'm sure you think the ACA was Socialism, but it didn't even provide a public option, it's essentially state mandated private insurance no different from the auto insurance mandate which also lacks a public option.
And whether they're considered center right or not, when you look at where the people actually stand ON THE ISSUES, the Democratic Party is to the right of most of the American People on major issues such as Social Security.
The majority oppose Social Security cuts even the majority of Republicans say Hands Off Social Security, they want Social Security improved with lower retirement ages and higher payouts. But the democrats keep raising the retirement age, people are catching on that the Blue Dogs like Biden want them to work until they die. Biden spent his whole career advocating cuts to social security and medicare.
The Democrats are objectively, according to PEW GALLUP INSCOP and basically all other metrics, to the RIGHT of the American People on the issues they care about.
"I am right, you are wrong" "What is the proof?" "You are a fascist!"
Yes, to get an reaction out of people like you.
Works pretty well i´d say.
The numbers they use to say 2 million[forums.sherdog.com] "Players" (not sales) are made up with their own game pass called Ubisoft+. The same strategy was used to say Avowed had 1 million players because of xbox gamepass, when all metrics surrounding both games (Steams numbers and actual aggregate sites like VGInsights, show the games selling badly not even 200k).
It's explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQUrHgFwCXI
besides, all these games are still relying on the last eras trend of 'black worship' when everyone now has 'black fatigue'. why does it always have to be a black guy, even in a parody game? you could've kept the female in shadows and i still would've maybe played it eventually, but bro, putting in yasuke is just pandering to all the young black people who collect knives and swords, and practice justus in their room while wearing the naruto headband in public. dbz gangbanging YN's are who this is trying to drum up hype to, and we need to stop relying on that culture anymore.
Careful.
Pointing out yasuke wasnt important in japanese history makes you a racist/bigot/phobe/supremacist/settler/far right/fascist/nazi/incel/chud/mysoginist/grifter
Wait, which one did i forget ? Probably a good few.. lemme search for their bible real fast to keep up.
That is why Ubisoft asked (non-japanese) fiction authors to get their story instead of just sticking to historical facts of Japanese writings. To make Yasuke more important than just a servant who was allowed to carry stuff and vanished after his master was dead.
Well, i dont know about the samurai thing but after looking into it myself for a bit i came to the conclusion that it seems to be very split on opinions.
Some historians believe he was and some dont.
But he definitely wasnt very important thats why theres barely a few lines about him.. and in the end akechi mitsuhide even insulted him so maybe he wasnt as beloved as some people think.
It was probably just nobunaga.
If he really would have been a high ranked bodyguard, he would have died with his master, or the enemies would have taken his head as trophy. Never mentioned anywhere in ancient japanese writings.
I think thats a fair point yes.
The samurai took that very serious.
Samurai also were trained from 7 years on. He was only 15 months in Japan, but Ubisoft made him a superhuman Samurai in game. They always say "but he was a great warrior already before". You cannot compare the technics and training Samurai got with the training as an african warrior he had before. They did not learn the katana, disciplines or anything in africa about being a Samurai.
Also in writings he just disappeared after the masters death without mentioning even his death. Means he just died as a servant or lived an unimportant life after somewhere.
If he would have been any important, his death or life after this would have been mentioned.
I like to be informed and you seem to know everything about it.
