Tilt Brush

Tilt Brush

What are some decent alternatives?
This sounds like it's rather limited and doesn't work too well with certain things, which I feel I might be part of.

Quill seems to not work for me for some reason. I can't get the Mozilla one to work. I see some online articles but I also want some human input.

I also get that VR is still pretty early-on, as it took us *many* years to get really good image editors. So I'm not expecting some sort of "one thing that does everything amazingly" or anything, I'm just curious if anyone knows of perhaps some decent niche thing that not many people talk about.

Edit: Open Brush is free for those who want to do this for free. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1634870/Open_Brush/

You might need to explain more.

1. Why doesn't Tilt Brush fit your requirements? What's missing?
2. What else have you tried?
3. Why style of modelling/sculpting are you after (Ilustrative? Polygon based? More like virtual clay? etc etc)

I maintain a big spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xwqLF3CpYWxZ6kipzWGHaBn8rKPsptKxRCfHjVngxzA/edit#gid=0&fvid=1232365131

(the "Building/Creative" tab is what you probably want to look at)

but I can't recommend anything without knowing more about what you want to do and what experience you've already had.

Good List, Andy! The most notable "VR art apps" L7 hasn't tried yet? are Gravity Sketch and Oculus Medium. (Many of the others are similar to one of these, see Sculptr VR for an Medium like app on other headsets.)

Interested in hearing about new ones, of course!

I'll mention "Colory VR", an independent app which is similar to Tilt.
