To be quite honest... I don't care if you have 1,000,000 hours in the game or any game for that matter! I'm simply stating what I did, what the result was, and that it appears to be a bug or glitch. If you are going to go all 5 year old child over my response stating what my personal experience with the issue is, then that's on you! Oh... and for the record I NEVER said you didn't know WTF you were talking about. Again that too is on you as YOU said that, not me! LOL
As I stated previously, I read about the RMB before even making this thread and tried it with both the UI open and closed, and nothing happens. The only time it appears that the lantern was refilled was when I did what I explained in the initial post I made in this thread. I'm not saying that is the right way, just the method I stumbled upon when trying to figure out how to refill the lantern. If the RMB method is the proper method then it is not working on the server which I play on. I may try to create a new lantern and see if it is possibly the one specific lantern I made that has some sort of refilling glitch.
@Kipriou Yea I tried both with the UI opened and closed, but the lantern does not get filled. :(
I figured out the issue. Apparently, you cannot refill your lantern until it is completely empty. I let my lantern drain down to empty, then I got the tool tip on RMB to refill. Doing that worked. I thought you could refiull the lantern at any time. I never let my lanterns or torches go completely out when in caverns, dungeons, etc.... when gaming, I usually let them go down to about 25% then refill them. I didn't realize you had to wait until completely empty before refilling a lantern in Out of Reach.
