Then buy/go loot recipes in global chat for higher level Helmets, Gloves and Boots (47-70+). Then repeat but with the advanced sub-components. Hit 80 crafting in 2-3 days easily if you have a ton of free time or a few guild mates helping you out.
That depends on your level as that will change as your level changes. XP amounts change as your level changes and so what the best item to build will also change.
You'll have to look at the XP amounts considering the material requirements. Every 5-10 levels, you will want to change what you are crafting.

Best way to level armoursmithing has of 2021 is making shields until 67, at 67 make chainmails until 77 then light shield's again until 84. Make sure you pick all the dissasemble perks in character development for dissasembling to get 60% return on ressources.
