Bardiches and Guisarmes
I think that these two weapons need to have their damage types, and possibly their ranges, adjusted. No one really bothers to use either of these weapons. Most just go with Axe and Spear instead because they both have a better range and damage esp at end game weapon variety availability.

The Bardiche damage types are as follows:

Left: Slashing,
Right: Slashing
Stab: Bludgeon damage

Bludegon damage is absolutely the wrong type of damage for the bardiche stab. It should be Piercing. But, because the bardiche has a much wider blade than a spear at the point, it should have a lower overall piercing modifier because spears are better at piercing than bardiches, even though piercing is absolutely what a bardiche does when you stab with it.

This assumes the user of the bardiche would turn the pole in their hands to make sure they are swinging with the blade facing toward the enemy at both left and right swings (otherwise, one direcion would need to be bludgeon becaues there is only a blade on one side of the pole).

Now, Guisarmes:

Damage types currently as follows:

Left: Slashing
Right: Slashing
Stab: Piercing

Guisarmes a little more complicated because they have a real variety in designs, but most versions feature some kind of hooked blade and a piecing blade. But it seems to me that slashing is not the correct damage type for left and right swings.

I think it should be:

Left: Piercing .8 (small stabby bit)
Right: Piercing .5 (Slow Effect if this side has the hook as in the image I am showing)
Stab: Piercing 1.0 (big stabby point on end)

Additionally, the hook is meant to dehorse riders. Now I know we don't have horses in game, but I think the giving the guisarme a potential proc of a slow effect with one of the directions, either left or right, is not unrealistic (but not both sides unless the thing is made with two hook shapes). I'm sure there will be more damage types and things in the future, but for now, it seems that would make the guisarme useful and unique. Also increasing its range to be comporable to spear would be good. It feels much shorter than it should right now.

Thanks for this. Its certainly been noted in the tester group that Bardiches and Guisarmes suffer from mechanical issues. Once the team is done with the major updates (syncro, combat rework) you can expect to see more of these changes come into effect as the team hones how they want combat to flow and operate.

Thanks Rusery. I'm looking forward to the BIG updates and understand they are the priority. Can't wait for those, so I keep myself occupied by thinking about all this instead lol.
