Can't Run Worms, Loading screen crash

Hi there, I have just downloaded the game recently, and am having an issue with the loading. The game loads the menus just fine, but when I actually try and start a game whether it is single or multiplayer, the loading screen begins with the gears turning, but once the little worm comes out to play the game does not (it freezes).
I have reinstalled the game several times, verified files and searched the internet as well as this forum. It seems I am inept at finding someone with similar issues (surely, I am not alone), so I have decided to post a new report due to my failure of finding the solution. I am at a loss as to why it stops at this spot, I even tried making a save folder in the directory I thought it would go as there was a little floppy disk in the worm's hand and I thought the game was having an issue making/finding a directory.
If anyone knows what to do, please help. I have been a long time fan of worms and was very excited to get back to playing (haven't played since Worms World Party), so this has been disappointing to say the least. My system specs are as follows, but I do feel this is more of a file/path issue as I have turned graphics and all well below my gaming capabilities.
I am sorry if this is a repeat, and I have Razer mouse and gamepad, I don't know if that is an issue?

Sorry to hear you are having this issue with Worms W.M.D. Thanks for sending over your Dxdiag information also.

Can you try the following:

Go to the following location: \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\WormsWMD\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012

Run both of the x86 and x64 installers
Restart your system and retest the game.

If the folder is missing from your system, please install the Visual C++ directly from this page[www.microsoft.com].

I have done as requested, restarted and no dice. The game still freezes while loading any scenario.

Sorry to hear that it did not help. It might be due to the fact that your graphics card is just below the minimum system requirements:

Minimum required: AMD Radeon HD 7750
Your GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series

That said, as you mentioned that you have a Razer mouse, can you try to uninstall Razer Chroma SDK and Razer Synapse if you have it and retest?

I have purchased a new graphics card, and will be installing it in a few days. I will also test the Razer issue at that time. I have tried a few other things, but the problem persists. I will post again once I have installed the graphics card.
