No intro videos and a Black Screen (Mac)

OVERVIEW:
The game worked perfectly a few days ago but now it just won't run the game properly. I can launch the game but the intro videos don't come up, only the autosave icon inbetween videos. And then the screen is just black and doesn't continue beyond that point. I have restarted the computer, updated it, validated the cache files, deleted the intro videos and even unistalled razor synapse but nothing works and I can't find a solution in the discussions.

STEPS:
I launch the game and the first screen with infrmation about the developers comes up but then there are no intro videos. Sometimes I see yellow lines across the screen.
RESULT:
The game doesn't start and I can't play it

EXPECTED RESULT: The intro videos should come up and I should just start the game

Computer Specs:
MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2017 Version 10.13.5 (17F77)
Processor 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB

I would really like to find a solution to this problem and contunue playing the game. Thank you in advance!

Well, I found the solution after posting this by deleting all the videos in the video folder in the game but now I have another problem. When I'm in the Main Menu there is a text on the bottom that says: Can't access Worms WMD Server, please try again later.
So there seems to be a network problem in the game as I can't use custom levels either from the workshop and when I try to refresh the list the game cashes and when I select a level and try to play it the game crashes.
