Sorry to hear that you're having this problem.
If might be that you're experiencing a known issue with poor system configurations.
So that I can check for this, I'd like to ask that you please get in touch with your system information and a screenshot of the issue.
Instructions on how to send me your system information can be found on this page.
If you're playing in local, private or custom games, it might be that there is an 'Artillery' setting on. This will fix your worms in place, preventing them from moving.
To check for this, please go to Customization > Scheme > Game > Artillery Mode and check that this is set to off.
In your response, please also let me know which input devices you have connected to your system.
Please include all joysticks, gamepads, etc... and their model information.
