For Team17 Devs. Make Worms W.M.D Cross-Play 2025

Like the title says. Make Worms W.M.D Cross-play...

I for one would really like to see Worms W.M.D to get cross play with other platforms like PC / Consoles and Android Phones / Apple, and maybe Nintendo Switch as well

I agree with this. The game needs an increased player base. Especially if they don't plan on making any new Worms.

I can't see new games being all that necessary. Ports, patches, maybe a crossover with Hedgewars - sure, but purely new games are just too ambitious for T17's treatment habits in relation to the series. Though we did discuss this yesterday in the third round of Forts, so you already get the memo.

As for Cross-platform Play, I think it'd be a neat idea to implement it in a resurgence update... even if it is unlikely. Preferably it should be unrestricted just like in (currently server-deceased) Rumble. W:AAE also has crossplay, but it is restricted only to console families, so it's not the optimal choice.
