I already own Worms WMD but haven't played it much, and I've decided as a result of this stream that it's what I'll play. At some point, I'm currently (re)discovering a love for digital board games like Dominion and Risk, and open-world RPG's like Zelda:BotW and MH:World.
A question: how well does this game handle iGPU's? And should I use a controller or a MKB?
If you go for competetive online worms gameplay: Worms Armageddon is the only option
However for more "casual" fun WMD is a lot better !
better graphics , better weapon variety , crafting , vehicles just overall a lot more variety
Casual is definitely how I'd be playing. Either against bots, or a campaign / puzzle mode if it has it.
If you play with mouse and keyboard and you want the classic Worms experience get Armaggeddon (Worms World Party was my favorite growing up but the Remastered is apparently really bad while Worms Armaggeddon was updated a few years ago to make it work even better).
If you play with a controller get Worms Reloaded for the classic feel, but if you want something more modern, then WMD is probably a good choice.
Definitely avoid Worms Revolution/Worms Clan Wars unless you want something different. The class system really doesn't really spice up the formula as much as vehicles and the liquid physics add absolutely nothing.
Ultimate Mayhem is very interesting for what it was but I think most people prefer the 2D games overally.
