Report a translation problem
1. There's always going to be a meta and people will invariably find the most broken build they can and use only that because lots of gamers are lame as hell and will use any advantage they can to win
2. Matches would potentially be a lot less about skill + strategy and more to do with match-ups. If two players of equal skill faced each other and one player had a better meta selection of classes + abilities, that player is very likely to win despite not being better at the game.
I am not opposed to the idea of classes returning as a feature, but they would have to be very finely balanced and playtested by veterans. They aren't balanced in Clan Wars and even less so in Revolution. Personally, I think that worm classes are not nearly as important to a future Worms title as many other issues present with WMD; chiefly lack of MANY classic weapons and utilities, lack of customization options in general, and environmental / map features.
