So, you're happy to pay 40$ on a videogame, comparing to movies or lunches, and i am the little boy... seems legit. I'm playing videogames as long as they've being sold.
But now seriously.
I'm just saying you can't make comparisons this way, it's silly, just an excuse for your own self. You make serious comparisons getting actual prices for similar games. In this case, it's overpriced in your country and even more here. It's clearly that way, not a matter of what i think or how i feel.
sorry about my english,
30€ is ridiculous for a worms game that looks and feels like a highly polished indiegame. i really want this game and i really want the preorder stuff, but i must be dumb to buy a game that is doomed only because of its too high price.
i'm 100% sure that the game will be another market failure and like clan wars there will be no online players and community left a few weeks after the release. why ? not because its quality. the game looks to be extremely high quality, but because too few ppl are going to pay 30€ for a worms game. only the most hardcore veterans will pay this price and as we all know there aren't enough veterans left to build an active and lasting community because of past failures by team17 (like clan wars) :(
i would love to be proven wrong, but i bet everything i have that i will be proven right on release and the game won't sell good, maybe not at all -.-
20€ should have been the maximum to charge. 20€ would have been "much" for a game like this, but still reasonable and still fair. 30€ is too much and too expensive.
unfortunately because of this this can even be the best worms game they've ever done, it won't have any chance on the market and it will be dead on arrival because of the price :( once again GG team17 :(
Oh, the priveleged upper class...
I paid £8 for Armageddon in 1999. That was second hand. For new in 1998 it would have been £20.
PS1 games were reasonably priced back in the day. This price is ridiculous for a 2D game in 2016 that has never progressed successfully beyond armageddon.
put a more affordable price, sell skins in the game, do not pay to win, just customize. make servers dedicated and lobby with quick game(solo), matchmaking(duo or more), pvb, pratice... something like gunbound.
i want to play this game with my friends.
