So is there going to be "nuclear" weapons like Armageddon?
Or something similar? I always liked having Armageddon around to have fun in my Worms: Reloaded matches.

IMO magnets should affect meteorites.

i dont think that a good idea armageddon is basically a double edged super weapon which can save you or kill you if magnets would deflect them it would lose its purpose of double edge

Well, it would reward players who had foresight enough to place a magnet, especially if the armageddon is a part of the scheme and not a random crate drop. Besides, it would only affect meteorites within its range, which is fairly limited.

In W:A, one of the more common sudden death types is a nuke + some amount of water rise per turn. In any scheme that includes a freeze, smart players will typically save that freeze for the turn just before sudden death kicks in so that the nuke doesn't poison their worms. I feel like this is similar to people placing magnets to avoid getting pulverized by meteorites.

A lot of meteorites that enter our atmosphere have metallic elements within them, so I dunno why the magnet shouldn't affect them in the game. It would reward smart players and it would also add even more chaos when the armageddon goes off. For instance, on one turn you could place a magnet set to "attract" by some enemy worms.. next turn activate armageddon and watch that area get utterly destroyed.

if a magnet can change the game, then im fine with that. i like players who would think that.
also i think the reason why magnets dont affect metorites IRL is because they dont have enough metallic elements in it. and a magnet isnt that strong. an electromagnet sure tho.
