Is there a Cross-Platform between PC-Mac-Linux?

Title says it all. I had this disappointment with Worms Reloaded. Bought 4 pack to play with my 2 mac-user friends, but there was no cross platform. How about this one?

Well, thanks for the info and don't just look in to. Do it please. One thing that worms is missing for years is the cross platform. At least between PC-Mac and Linux.

So i'm postponing my purchase 'till there is a cross platform.

Man...that totally blows. I also remember reading that post about Linux Mac and Windows crossplay. I actually told my brother to buy the game after reading that post, he plays on Mac, and me on Windows.The player base is going to be so little at this point, this really should be a priority for the next patch.

For the love of ♥♥♥♥ guys your company was around when "micro computers" was still a word used in the industry to distinguish home computer from the "Big Pros Mainframe , who are "serious" computers meant for "serious buisness".

You've been around during an era where porting over to another platform was ACTUALLY meaning hiring up another team that's specialised in that platform. And back then you were able to deliver versions of your games on every single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one of them with flyng colors.

The ♥♥♥♥ happend to you Team 17 , don't you give a ♥♥♥♥ anymore ?

Like the others above me : As long as I can't join a game with my Mac user friends and Windows user friends from a Linux running computer you don't get my cash ....

(And given that I am the one buying for everyone it means a good 12 copies not being sold here )

If you can't tell us anything more specific I'm going to HAVE to get a refund (which would be a pity as I love Worms since I first played it 15 years ago). I'm not interested in single player and I don't think anyone has to tell you that multiplayer is useless for Linux or Mac users if it isn't cross-platform.

Yeah. I must admit that I'm also bit annoyed. Althought Iam not realy an MP Guy (unless it comes to sitting with a few friends in front of the pc) I'd play a few matches just to get the achievements. Problem: There isn't one single unranked lobby open and so far I wasn't able to get one ranked match on Linux.

Yeah that would be why it looks empty for MP for you. Don't know what ranked looks like for OSX but I haven't had to wait more than 20-30 seconds for a ranked match on windows so far.

20-30 seconds sounds a lot

I am on OSX, and so far from around 8 tries, I was able to connect to one match.
Not sure how much I waited, but I kinda gave up I guess. It seems it either doesn't work or there are no players.

It would be useful to know user base demographics , my GTM is +1, maybe most of the users are from US?

20-30 was more an example of the longest I've had to wait for ranked. Its usually seems to be under 10.

I wish they could show how many players is searching for the matches.

I played some indie games with online multiplayer, and some of them had problem that people with fast internet connection were prioritized in matchmaking while others were waiting forever.

OSX users such as ourselves are at a disadvantage for everything because game developers are too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy to consider the entire community. I don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ how many Mac players there are, WE ARE STILL HERE. It's unfair. And it's not like they're actually worse for games, so please, nobody insinuate that. I hate that people still think that, it's so stupid.

Not making a cross-platform game cross-platform multiplayer compatible is a special kind of incompetence. Are we back in 2005?

I'm going to attempt a refund after discovering this absurd problem. I wasn't able to find a single match with over 10 minutes of searching. Ranked, Unranked, and an empty "browse games" list.
