We're still monitoring the community's feedback on weapons and wehichles balancing. Thanks for giving us your feedback on the helicopter.
Perhaps not with all the bullets but for sure it should deal less damage when you don't even try to hit the worm for 2 seconds. Fixing that and how much it destroys terrain is more important than the max damage (to me).
Anyway - the chopper would seem more reasonable with either a 50 max damage or a fixed retreat time of just two or three seconds following the use of its weapon.
Just to be clear, I enjoy vehicles, I think they're a nice addition to the game, but not when they take the whole focus.
I have them enabled at 5% in my scheme, but I would change that to 3-4% if possible. Or, if vehicles spawned in the form of "spawners" with a delay, I would do that.
Edit: Nevermind, the mech has the second highest health.
Well, that's one more thing to do to balance them: Swap tank and mech health values.
One of the things I enjoy doing most in the game is jumping and gliding about in the Mech like a total badass. Conversely, having jumps cancelled by minuscule fragments of land is one of the lead enjoyable aspects
That was a problem with RNG spawn much more than anything else. Just as well it could have been a crate, or tanks and mechs in other situations.
The chopper is most definitely imbalanced compared to the other vehicles, if you have a choice, you will always choose the chopper.
RNG needs to be completely removed anyway, no crates, and no vehicles. For non serious gamemodes, crates and vehicles are fun, but the chopper is still annoying. Either fuel or damage reduction need to happen, even both.
