PSA: You can change the turns on Unwanted Present.
I was looking at the crafting menu and read "and choose when to unwrap" about the unwanted present. I tried to use the fuse time keys, and it worked! This weapon (for me), just went from trash tier to very good.

Although I see no reason to use anything other than 1 turn.

I don't understand the strategy behind the unwanted present. Why one turn? What advantage does it have over a weapon that explodes immediately?

It does good damage, so it's good enough. But yeah I don't understand the real use of this weapon either. At least now it's usable for me. The only way you can get away is if the player plays next, and he has a worm select. Just place it on somebody you know won't play next turn and you're good to go.

The unwanted present has a few strategic uses, and don't forget that the damage dealt is relative to fuse length! It also bounces differently than a grenade, so heads up on that.

What's the highest damage you can deal with it?

It deals up to 75 damage if set to one turn, each turn adds 5 more damage (so, up to 95 damage at 5 turns).

I think it has it's use when you want to keep the enemy away from a certain , smaller area.
(Much better that a mine, which can be defused easily by walking near and than getting away from it.)

That said, most schemes give me better options that I usually prefer over the Present.
I had a scheme in mind for this weapon, but I could not do it because I could not put craftable weapons in that scheme (that were needed in addition to the Present.)

Yeah, definitely not worth the extra turns.

I don't get it. How does it keep the enemy away? I can get right on the present, shoot you, then get away. The radius isn't that amazing. The color of the present also gives away how many turns are left.
