Rank Points Badges & Rewards List
I searched all over and couldn't seem to find this anywhere so I thought I'd share it with everyone! Special thanks to Lord of the Epochs and AmazeeLuck for their incredible input! You guys are the best! Anyway, I suppose the list could be considered spoilers to some people... So, spoiler alert!!!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rank 10: 0-3000 pts (Badge: Prod *finger* symbol w/ bronze shield)
Rank 9: 3001-8000 pts (Baseball bat w/ bronze shield and 3 star banner)
Rank 8: 8001-15000 pts (Shotgun w/ bronze shield, 3 star banner and wings)
Rank 7: 15001-24000 pts (Bazooka w/ silver shield)
Rank 6: 24001-35000 pts (Grenade w/ silver shield and 3 star banner)
Rank 5: 35001-48000 pts (Sheep w/ silver shield, 3 star banner and wings)**
Rank 4: 48001-63000 pts (Banana w/ gold shield)
Rank 3: 63001-80000 pts (Holy Hand Grenade w/ gold shield and 3 star banner)
Rank 2: 80001-99000 pts (Donkey w/ gold shield, 3 star banner and wings)
Rank 1: 99001 pts (Armageddon w/ platinum shield, 3 star banner and wings)*

**Rank 5 gift is Silver Grenade (same dmg) and Bleating Ranker Steam Achievement
*Rank 1 gift is Golden Bazooka!!!

Match win/lose pts = 313 pts (this never changes no matter what your rank is)

Each rank goes up by the next odd number (by thousands) starting with 3000
So 0-3000 is 3000 pts then 3000 to 8000 is 5000 pts then 8000 to 15000 is 7000 pts (and so on)

NOTICE: If your silver grenade and golden bazooka aren't showing up (I accidentally said 'OK' instead of 'Equip Now' when the gift screen popped up) Goto "Help & Options" then under the "Settings" tab you'll see a drop down for "Rank Reward 5" and "Rank Reward 1" they will be set to 'ON'. However, you will want to choose 'OFF' then play one match (you can immediately exit out of the match if you want) after that go back into settings and turn them 'ON'! Next match you play they will show up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have probably already figured this out but, just to be clear (as it can be somewhat confusing) online rank points are different from your position in the online leaderboards. You don't have to be in 1st place on the leaderboard to get the gold bazooka (you just have to get that many "rank points") I'm not sure why they don't make this clear because initally I thought you had to be in 5th on the leaderboard to get the silver grenade. That is not the case.

Shameless plug:

Rank 3 is Holy Hand Grenade with gold shield.
Rank 2 is Donkey with gold shield.
Not sure about rank 1.
AmazeeLuck Sep 9, 2016 @ 7:10pm
Rank 1 is Armageddon on a silver-ish shield at 99,000 points.
Sorry I didn't keep track of how many points all the ranks in between are at. Maybe someone else working their way down the ranks can add what's missing.

Thanks guys! With your help the list is finished!! And actually using some simple math, I figured out the pattern:
Each rank goes up by the next odd number (by thousands) starting with 3000
(If that makes any sense) So 0-3000 is 3000 pts then 3000 to 8000 is 5000 pts then 8000 to 15000 is 7000 pts (and so on). LOL I actually used something I learned in math class. Thanks teachers!!!

you do realise the ranks are pointless right without any kind of elo match making, even the slightest of above average player could get to rank 1 if they played enough. especially with the 95% chance youd come across a 1st time worms player in the last 2 weeks.
NinJaRed Sep 10, 2016 @ 6:06pm
But at least now you'll know how far you've got to go!!!

I guess that something lol, I wont go hard at it until and if it changes to skill based, not games played based. I've not played lots, like 50 games or so and im at #60 at 13,000, if I were to times my games by 10, I'd be at 100,000 or so, but it's a grind and I dont want to. I dont see why, The points arent getting any harder to earn, so it'd be inevitable. Just a a grind.

If the Ranked system doesnt change in the next update I dont see many people playing ranked in a month time (even less are now), as many will realise this. It'll just be the same faces playing each other over and over, with a vague rank, and new players being put of as all they'll play is pros. :ConcreteDonkey:

This. Someone who starts playing ranked needs at least 384 games to reach rank #1 at the moment. And that's only 3 weeks after release. I've played 60 ranked games so far with 86.67% winning ratio and have 18154 points. The current rank 2 has 82.03% winning ratio and 97343 points, which means I should play at least 253 games more to reach him...

There's not much point in playing ranked until they make the rating system Elo based and the matchmaking system find you an opponent primarily from the same point class. Currently newcomers get bashed by top players and top players get rewarded with 313 points each time.

I hope this is high on their to-do list.

Good point- in its current state, ranked is more of a test of endurance or "how much time a day can you spend grinding" than it is actually "ranking" the worlds best Worms (w.m.d.) players. If Worms does become a true esport (like with cs:go, dota2, Rocket League, etc) I'm not sure if this list could even be used to gauge who would qualify for semi-finals/finals atm.

Yeah all you guys are definitely right, ranked matching probably needs a good fixing...
I'm not sure if this would help but i think you should only be matched up against people in your rank so rank 10 only plays rank 10, rank 1 only plays rank 1. It would be the easiest way (for now) to keep it fair and let you actually work your way up (or down if the next rank is too hard)
David McMurdo Sep 13, 2016 @ 9:58am
You guys are definitely right in some respects. Ranked feels like a grind for sure. I'm at rank 2 with nearly 400 games under my belt. That's a hell of a lot.

But while I do agree that in an ideal world opponents should be matched against people of similar skill, I really doubt that there are enough people playing to make that work. What would almost certainly happen is that you'd very rarely be able to find a game. I'm sure of this because every time I play now I recognise my opponent from some previous match.

It's possible that the system does actually attempt to match players of a similar skill, but upon failing to find any it just goes for the next best thing. It's either that you simply don't get a game. All things considered, that's probably the best option outside of official tournaments.

Besides that, as much of a grind as it is, at the end of the day you still have to win your games. A bad player isn't going anywhere.

That's how it should work. Wait a moment for similar skilled opponent and if there's none, match with anyone. I doubt it's working like that at the moment.

But if you are from class 1 and play against someone from class 10, you should get only a few points for winning and lose more points if you happen to lose. That way top positions wouldn't get out of reach.

Hey Danny: If you uninstall the game and install it again, do you keep your rank and rewards?

I'm pretty confident those ranks are stored server-side. Everyone can access them, after all.

I barely even wanna play the game AT ALL in its current state, much less even bother with ranked. I've played 2 ranked games just to see what the scheme is like.

There's no way in hell I'm gonna grind out hundreds of games with scheme settings I don't like just to get a couple of weapon skins. I don't even care if they fix the matchmaking, as I doubt there's enough people trying to play ranked for that to even matter... especially with the division of the player base. The most important thing is that it becomes Elo-based and points won or lost are completely relative to the record of your opponent.

There also needs to be far more ranked modes, clan functionality, etc. (I've said this stuff probably a hundred times by now.)
