Online chat?

Is there something to chat in in the online and ranked modes? I see often a phone icon in the top left corner, but I don't know what it means. If I click on it, nothing happens.

You can click on it in the lobby. You have to press the page down button during a match.

There's a lot of chat topics, so instead of making a new one, I'll post this here. I think the chatbox should be visible by default. Maybe just make it semi-transparent. Many people seem to not know that chat exists in this game.

It's amazing how almost nobody's using the search bar..the man who invented this must be the most unappreciated man ever.
