How to speed up the AI turn?

I am playing local multiplayer coop and the computer takes way too long to finish his turn. Is there any way to speed it up?

There's no such option in the game itself. I don't think someone's provided a mod or cheat to speed up the game yet.

I'd like to see this as a feature in WMD, or in any upcoming version of Worms. Would be great to have instant turn change, reducing the idle time to zero.

God please someone make this mod. I've quit playing because the AI wait time is FOREVER and turns are so short. It's just way too frustrating waiting for the game to play out.

Agreed. Please let AI turns be faster if AI in online multiplayer is coming.

I only played the game once. I team up with my kids against a few group so worms and it could be fun, but it felt like an endless Wait-Fest.

Please devs, if you read this, fix this.

New to WMD. Game moves far too slowly. It's almost taking the Mickey, the AI turns play out slowly making them feel far less interesting than they would if they were faster.

yeah the slow pace makes the game unplayable on harder levels. made a mistake? try again. oops, third time's the charm. i've now been playing for 3 HOURS when some levels take 5 minutes.

I have other problems with the game:
- The emphasis on building weapons,
- the really limited amount of ammo on later levels,
- The constant bunker duster spam of the AI
- The useless vehicles
- The annoying magnets and sentry

So why not do a menu where I can toggle these on and off? The engine and all together I like it better than Armageddon, but honestly I just want the classic game mode.
