Is this game dead?

Own it on PS4 and its a graveyard. Don't want to make the same mistake twice. Also whats the most populated worms game on steam?

Worms armageddon is more active than that chart indicates, and probably the most active version online. Certainly the most stable community. The stats on that page only count the WA players playing with the steam version, but all players (cd-rom, pirated, steam, and other) can play together without any issues.

go to steamcharts.com and search worms in, this game has the most players of all worms games.

False. If you bothered to read my post directly above yours, you'd know Steam charts only counts a small subset of WA players. There is currently no easy way to tell definitively which game is the most active, as stats.worms2d.info is down atm. You can view WA's activity (but not games in progress) on snoop.worms2d.info.
