With enough Crystals, you can cap the lives
I didn't give you all the details because it might not even matter. As I said, an update might change where the variable is, or how it works. Or, it might be different on your platform. Or maybe you have a mod that changes something. Or the version of Cheat Engine you are using might act differently than mine.
As it was, I had tried, and failed, to modify 3 other values in this game. The crystals hack was a compromise. And even that didn't work like I had hoped, but it worked well enough.
...And Cheat Engine wasn't the first tool I tried.
That is the key here. Cheat Engine, and tools like it are hacker tools.
To use a hacker tool you need to learn things, and experiment. If you give up after failing once, or even 20 times, maybe it is not for you.
If you aren't willing to learn the tools, and how to hack
- You can wait and hope someone develops one.
- You can hire a coder to write one for you.
- You can let it go.
I told you it was possible. That was true at the time I answered it, on my machine with my configuration. It should be easily reproducible, but it might not be. Computers are complex things. I am not here to hold your hand. The next steps are up to you.
I reinstalled the game, and the cheat no longer worked for me. The address I had saved did not track the number of crystals at all. I am not sure why this would be, since the game has not had any updates listed on the store page.
I did find a new address that was tracking the crystals, but could not modify the value. I tried a few things to force it, but I could not make it work.
I didn't want to dedicate much more time to it as I am no longer playing the game. If I get back to this, I will post here again.
Essentialy, basic procedure, got some crystals, searched for this value using value type: double, then gathered one more, searched for the new value, modified the value and got infinite crystals now. Same with points.
In any case, thank you for letting us know it works and how you did it!
