I finally completed the first level and was excited to start exploring the city and finding all those well-hidden powerup boxes. Well, not 5 minutes after entering the city for the first time, I managed to fall through the bottom of the map and just kept falling forever.
I figured eventually I would hit the bottom and get reset back to some point on solid ground much like when I fell into the pits in the first map, but I just kept falling and falling. I had to finally just exit to the main menu and start again. :sadrobot:
If there was an option in the menu to reset position to somewhere safe it would be greatly helpful for situations like this or when the character gets lodged in between a drain pipe and a wall as also happened to me (I was able to eventually wiggle myself out of being stuck there).
Really only a minor complaint/suggestion, otherwise I've been loving the game so far. Keep up the great work!
Regarding the falling off bug. Do you remember where did it happen???
I'm gonna guess you just found the infamous (for us) Thunder Hammer bug. It triggers when using the hard attack of the Thunder Hammer on the second level (if you used it on the first).
We are very, very sorry this slipped into the release (QA didn't find it and we gave it ample QA time) and have submitted fixes to Sony and Microsoft, but we don't know when they will be accepted.
PC fixes will be uploaded ASAP.
Again, sorry this happened. Wait a little longer so it gets fixed. In the meantime, if you get the Thunder Hammer, scrap it before -or just after- entering the second level.

I'd provide a better look of where I was headed but I can no longer steer camera when my steam overlay crashed.
Sadly I don't have screenshots of the other time, but it happened during the [Spoilers] Subway trainworm boss? I think I was inside the worm to hit it, got knocked out when it started moving, and just ended up sliding towards the wall until I skid along it?
