DFBHD M21 Sniper fire rate modification

Hey all, is anyone familiar with how I could possibly go in and modify any of the games files to increase the fire rate of the m21? Or even possibly modify it to be full auto? Ive seen a number of mods that offer this but most of them are either gone or are not compatible with the Steam version.

All I'm looking for is a simple adjustment to make the rifle shoot a bit faster. Would also be cool to switch the sights from the sniper scope to the CAR15's red dot aimpoint but I'll take what I can get.
