RIP Delta Force

What a shame to see the series go like this. All of the titles are now being delisted across GoG and Steam, including Black Hawk Down which has been just been removed from sale on GoG.

Doubt they will ever come back so if there are any games that you still don't have i'd recommend to act fast since the rest of the series is still available on Steam now but not for long.

I don't think they will last till the end of the day before they all go for good.

I bought BHD on GOG and the DF Bootcamp on steam. All I need now is Xtreme and Xtreme 2, but I've heard those are bad games. And they don't even go on sale...

Ah is that the case, yeah the RRP price for those games is way too high and according to steamdb there hasn't been a sale for almost 2 years on them. That's just crazy.

I did some digging and found them going for 80% off on wingamestore which is an authorised seller, i'd recommend getting them while you can before they sell out if you were keen on picking them up: https://www.wingamestore.com/search/?SearchWord=delta+force

I paid pretty much full price from gamebillet right before that deal came about so yeah i'm kicking myself a bit on that one

No worries at all mate, just thought i'd spread the word and glad you managed to score a good deal before it left.

I just checked and noticed that this game is going for over $100 on key sites now and wingamestore have stopped selling all games with the remaining outlets selling them for RRP, so you did well.

Once the other games are removed from Steam (which won't be long now) i'd imagine the prices will sore on those as well.

Also confirmed the removal of the entire series is due to a new "Ridley Scott" type shooter which will serve as a reboot for the series. More specifically it is intended to be based upon Black Hawk Down which could explain why this game had been removed a while back.

Well I'll probably wait for Xtreme and Xtreme 2 to go on sale (if there will ever be one) I guess. The full price is too much to pay for such old (and bad too) games.

They are going to be taken down from sale on Steam so that means no more sales.

After that happens i'm pretty confident the prices will match or even be higher then what Delta Force: Black Hawk Down is going for now (over $100).

Key sites actually started selling Xtreme 2 for over $1000 a few hours ago since they thought the game was already taken off Steam and then lowered their prices, they will most certainly up them once the game is gone for good, which could be any minute now.

I'm in the removed collector circles so I see this happen all the time.

Otherwise like you said, old games not worth it unless you are a collector.
