General Start Up issues guide. (Windows 10)

I saw that a bunch of Nova Logics Games where on sale with the summer sale so I scooped a few and have been running into issues getting them to run on a modern PC.
The first thing I ran into after installing it was that nothing would happen when I tried to launching the game. So I looked around and found out that on Windows 10 you need to turn on a feature. So Control Panel\Add Remove Programs\Turn On/Off Windows features (wait for list to be populated this can take awhile so be paitent). Click the little plus box next to Legecy components. Click Direct Play. That got the game to launch. So I got the screen resolution as high as it would go and started playing. After I quit for awhile I came back to play some more only to get an error messege when I tried to start. So I go read some more and find out that it doesnt like high resolutions. I uinstalled the game and reinstalled it. Same error.I uninstalled it a second time and I went to the game folder (C:programfilesx86\steam\steamapps\common\DeltaForceBlackHawkDown) To see if it was leaving files behind after I uninstalled it. Sure as shoot there was, I cleared the folder out and reinstalled again and it started just fine.
So I hope that helps a little bit, I will try to update this if I run into more issues and fixes as I go along.

i dont really understand the "Turn on/off windows features. Sorry my windows is on german :D. Cant start the game either
