Dungeon Quest

So I remember a game called Dungeon Quest by Games Workshop. Is this the same? Was it released as just Quest years later? If it is the "same" did Quest add anything over Dungeon Quest or was it just a re-name on a 2nd printing or something?

I have fond memories of the title when I was a teen but I also remember it not being too deep and was more or less a good version of D&D played solo.

I dont think Dungeon quest was by GW, was it?
Warhammer quest is kind of an evolution from Hero quest, to Advanced Heroquest to this.

Dungeonquest is a completely different game. The boardgame is now published by Fantasy Flight Games. Anyhow, in Dungeonquest, each character is on her/his own to explore the dungeon and get to the dragon's vault in the middle. There is NO party based combat in Dungeonquest and in fact no parties whatsoever. Warhammer Quest IS a party based game in the D&D sense meaning that the PARTY expolores the dungeon as a team.

You know what, it was Advanced Heroquest I was thinking about. I don't know where I got Dungeon Quest from but I did recall the name was longer than just Heroquest.

That said. Is this just what ever Heroquest was or is it Advanced Heroquest. I do remember likeing it pretty well but that was almost 20 years ago and I haven't touched it since then.

DungeonQuest is AWESOME! And yes, Games Workshop had it out in the 80's. I have all of the Dungeonquests, Im a DQ junkie. Originally though, it came out in Sweden in 1985 named " Drakborgen". (Dragon Fortress). This guy made a online version, Im not sure if it still works. Its based off the Games Workshop 80's Dungeonquest.
