Save game on PC
Does anyone know, where to find the save game files for this game on PC, there is a thread for mobile phones, but i seem to cannot find them in my local game folder. Would like to play this game on different PCs and it would be cool to have the same game file for each. :)

Hi, i think it is in your Users folder, within here usually:
AppData\LocalLow\ChilledMouse

on my PC the local data is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Warhammer Quest\WarhammerQuest_Data, the only file that changes when I play is output_log.txt but this file is not the save file :/

Hi, what happens if you try doing a full computer c:\ search for ChilledMouse
it might only be like mine in certain versions but you might need to also show all hidden or system folders in case they are hidden from view?

sadly there s no output for chilledmouse or chilled mouse only for warhammerQuest

oh ok, how about a file called "earheart.local" without quotes
which windows do you have btw?

The Save Files are as follows.
c:\Users\<Username>\AppData\LocalLow\ChilledMouse\WarhammerQuest\
Files are called:
Earheart.local (First Save Game Slot)
Armstrong.local (Second Save Game Slot)
Scott.local (Third Save Game Slot)

Deleting any of these frees up the slot. Restoring it puts it back. I am not sure if there are any Hash Checks in place but feel free to test it by copying the file out. Deleting it and starting a new game in the slot then playing a while and then copy the file back. If it is not usable then there are hash checks, if it is fully functional then it can be a way to backup your games before making those important decisions.

Hope that helps.
Please let me know in replies if it helps you.

First of all thanks for the help.

I am using Windos 10 and couldn t find earheart.local in any form on my PC (but found out that i have some restrictet folders i can only search through after a permmission check every time o0).

The c:\Users\Username string also does not contain an AppData folder, or any other folder that change after playing the game (according to the timestamps).

The only file that is changing is the output_log.txt textfile but i can t read from it where it loads/to where it saves the progress files.

On Win10, AppData is "hidden" by default. Open the username folder and click "View," just above the address bar you type the path into. On the mid-right section of this new menu, check the box marked "Hidden Items" and the folder will appear. Another way you can reach it is to type the full address in manually... Even if you dont see it, if it exists you can type its full path to access it. I just used this to move my save from desktop to laptop successfully, by the way, so I do know it works.
