I think it's kind of like the Mafia games (at least outside of III) where there is an open world but it's more of a backdrop to drive in as you do linear missions.

Wild that they're taking pre-orders, it's 3 weeks from launch and it isn't even clear what kind of game it is.

we are a few weeks from release yet we dont even know what the gameplay looks like

this kind of secretive behaviour just sets alarm bells ringing, nice trailers but thats all we get

this generally results in poor and boring gameplay, poor performance and no shelf life for the game.
