Spoilers Ahead: Favourite Route and Overall Thought

This being one of the first VNs I have played (if we include the Phoenix Wright games, then this would be the second VN I've played), I have to say, this game is really good. Granted, there are translation errors and CG issues here and there, but over all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm gonna run through all the routes and give my opinions on each of them, so here goes!

Kotori's Route: As expected from the main heroine (I guess you could call her that), Kotori's route is a relatively generic one, in my opinion. Closed off from others, slowly opens up due to the Soaring Club and wanting to fly through the Morning Glory. The one thing I disliked from this route is the adults (mainly Kotori's older sister) are a bunch of jerks! To be expected I suppose but still, don't like the whole "She's in a wheelchair, she needs to be treated differently". With that said however, I do like how Aoi (our protagonist/ladies man) does what he can to make her dream come true, especially with the scene with the foreign cockpit for handicap people. The sex scenes are relatively good, despite Kotori being kinda oblivious to how to do things. Favourite sex scene from this route has to be the scene after their first time. All in all, good route, good amount of feels.

Ageha's Route: Oh boy, do I have a bit to say about this one. I'll start off by saying that Ageha was not in the wrong for distancing from the Soaring Club near the end, since she was afraid of her past happening again, but I don't think it justifies playing with Aoi's feelings the way she did and labelling him as a FWB. That being said, I do like the fact that she slowly accepts that Aoi indeed loves her and she, in return, loves him back, in her own little way. I find it hilarious however, that Hotaru is constantly trying to win us over from her sister, and even gives consent to have sex with her! If that doesn't scream "GIVE US A HOTARU ROUTE" I don't know what does. Also added to the fact that Hotaru is friggin adorable. Moving back to Ageha, mainly her sex scenes, I will say that they were some of the most intense and hottest sex scenes I've seen ever. The handjob on the beach and the sex in the base were one of my favourites out of all. Overall, I did dislike how some of Ageha's behaviour was done, but the ending makes up for it.

Amane's Route: First and foremost: This has "Notice me Senpai" written all over it. But besides that, this has to be one of the most developed routes out of all of them. First off, we learn more about Amane's past, her involvement with the Soaring Club, why Tobioka hates her guts, who Isuka is, and the like. With that said, I did like the fact that we learned a lot more about who Isuka was and what had happened to her after the accident. If Kotori's route wasn't the canon route (and I'm assuming that it is) then Amane's would be, since a lot of the mysteries are cleared up. I'd like to add that this route probably shows how cute Amane can really be, with her being really oblivious and being an airhead (scene where she is studying porn while Aoi is looking for her). On that note, Amane's sex scenes were relatively good. I personally liked the sex on the beach. In the end, this route clears up a lot of things and is just overall good.

Asa's Route: There isn't much I can say about Asa's route but the fact that she is so friggin adorable! However, I do have my problems with it. There wasn't really any closure for her route and by that I mean that we don't see the club flying through the Morning Glory or have any more happen afterwards. Also, I didn't like how they combined Asa and Yoru's routes for the most part, but more on that when I get to it. I will say I did feel kinda bad for Asa and understood her desire to help in any way she can, but the whole thing prior to becoming your girlfriend is a little "eh" for me. Her sex scenes on the other hand, are kinda hilarious on how they occur. Her first time happens in the most cliché way imaginable and the second sex scene is pretty great but typical. That being said, Asa seems to be a little sadistic in my opinion and she will suck you dry. All because she loves her Senpai. Asa's route is a little meh but she's adorable so it makes up for it.

Yoru's Route: I'd like to note that I have yet to complete this route, so what I'm offering is what I've experienced thus far. This is where I continue when I said they kinda combined the twin's routes. It's understandable that it'd be hard to choose between two adorable Kouhai (underclassmen) but the way Aoi did it was so irritating that it was much like a drama. However, after getting over that part, we come to a comical make up between the twins and start dating the both of them. I say date both of them, but realistically, the route is mainly focused on Yoru, which isn't a bad thing, I just kinda wished they had kept it strictly to Yoru and added a Twin's Route seperately. The sex scenes (from what I've experienced so far) are amazing. Nuff said about that. Besides wanting a seperate route, I'm on the same boat as Asa's route but I'll overlook it for the time being.

My favourite route out of all (excluding the sex scenes) is probably Amane's route. It has the most material working in its favour, with explaining everything in the world for us to understand. Factoring in the sex scenes, it'd be a tie between Ageha's and Yoru's/Twins. Who's best girl? Route wise, Ageha and the Twins. Best girl in general? Hotaru.

For those that played and completed most of the routes, what are your opinions about this VN?



I'd still like a Hotaru route, but that is just a dream for me at this point.

I played the entire game WITHOUT the restoration patch a few months ago. I liked all the routes pretty much, aside from the confusing mess of the Ageha Route, which was still good in the end when the confusion finally ended (couldn't tell what was going on most of that route). My favorite routes were in this order: Kotori, Amane, Ageha, Yoru, Asa. Asa's was mainly last due to being incomplete, since it lasts for much less time than Yoru's.

Also, if MoeNovel ever decides to do the Flight Diary fandisk, that has a Hotaru Route and Kanako Route, though I'm not sure where they are in the time line. Everyone else's routes I think are also expanded. At this point, it doesn't seem like MoeNovel will be doing anything aside from what they have out now, though..

My favourite route was with Kotori.

Being married to a wheelchair user I found a lot that I could relate to about that route. :)

Ageha straigh up calls Aoi a friend with benefits? Why was she hesitant in liking him in first place?

Finale on Kotori's route was absolutely incredible (I even teared up at one point). Fanservice was good too.
Asa and Yoru's routes had the best fanservice though xD.

I loved Kotori's the most. The warm-and-fuzzies in her route are the reason I bought this game. The conflict and conflict resolution here was a teensy bit over the top, but I totally got into it.

Second would be Amane. All the questions that are answered makes this feel like a more complete story.

...Then it gets hairy.

Asa's was.. okay. I enjoyed her character a lot, but the jealousy issue there made it really awkward.

Ageha's was terrible. Nothing but boob jokes, weird non-appearance of her character as she goes on secret missions, and Ageha acting more tsundere than Kotori.

The twins-combo was the absolute worst. Character-wise, Yoru was my favorite (Yeah, I'm weird. Shoot me), but the whole "I can't pick, so let's date 'em both" garbage? Honestly, I was just speeding through half the text at the end.
