This story probably could work as a reasonably censored 17+ version, but not as a ridiculously axed (and mistranslated) 12+ one.
Honestly, I feel like the censoring in this game is "so bad it's good". Kind of hilarious. But yeah, install that restoration patch.
EDIT: Actually, what's really hilarious isn't so much the visual and story censoring done in the Moenovel version, as the occasional audio censoring in the original. I don't think I've ever seen that in Japanese media.
