Novaworld cc has been down for about 3 weeks. Hence I can't get into the game. However my friends said there is another lobby where there are 3 choice lobbies to use and they still manage to play. They sent me the zip file for the three lobbies, but I can't get them to function and replace the novaworld start up file. Any help on how to unzip this in my steam folder? I hope someone understands what I'm trying to ask. Thanks!

I had the same issue when reinstalling. There seems to be a large enough community of players on Facebook that can help with tech issue. There's a channel for Land Warrior, DF2, etc. What you want to do is go to Novahq.net. At the top menu look for "Files." In the drop down select Land Warrior. This brings up their archive of game mods. Look for the one called "DFLW Alternate Startup.htm (2019 Fixes)" and download it. There should be some instruction files inside. I think what you wind up doing is replacing the runtime .exe file with the one in the download, and maybe adding a folder. It was relatively easy. If it doesn't work let us know.

Thank you! I'll give it a try. I have the alternate start up file in a zip file. I imagine I simple open it into my dflw folder and it should replace the original?
