can you reach the end of the map on any level?
it seems like the maps are endless. is it procedurally generated?

There should be listed objectives. For example, some maps require you to find and pick up a briefcase before heading to the extraction zone. The maps are not procedurally generated.

The maps never ends. Since first Comanche game, most Novalogic games incorporated map system that is based on repeating terrain. The map "cells" only got bigger with subsequent games and usually are aligned in what you can call it a "shifted grid" which means the features of the terrain will not repeat themselves when going in cardinal directions in first few "boundary" passes. It was quite simple and clever trick actually.
