https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHKxz9b7RSA

all kunio nes fightning/sport original games compilation with save feature - that what we really need on steam!!, played them on 3ds, and they work even better than on original nes, more smooth and no "flashin" sprites bug.

remake of river city ransom, with more moves, story, better animations, and pvp minigame mode.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF5kmX5QZcM
it will eventually come out with eng subs for 3ds in this year.
the second one is kunio fantasy rpg, some eshop game, based on doing some "quests", although it dont have a lot of new animations and stuff, it just plays more like original kunio games on nes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-p6NZdTnx0
remake of kunio samurai game (historical drama), while original dont have a lot of ninja/samurai stuff, this one has a lot of new weapons, such shurikens katanas etc. and improved costumes.

Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun Special, first 3ds game for kunio franchise revival after Arc System bought rights for kunio games.
i assume it has short story mode based on first ever released kunio game for arcade (yes first kunio game was initially for arcades)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SzWtS1iA3Y
while the rumble mode is just free for all mashup with most iconic characters from all the games, hockey, football, dodgeball, olympics, historical drama - you name it.
so generally, if yo uwant kunio games grab 3ds... there are plenty of kunio fans who play on computers, and it shouldnt be that costly for them to port some of them, atleast "River City: Rival Showdown" ive played all kunio games for 3ds and for sure this one is one of biggest and best.

is that true? if yes then it's awesome!

some of these games never been officially released in english, if they do it, the kunio franchise overseas will be completed.
though in american version of game the kunio was named differently how they will cope with it?
crash'n the boys street challenge is totally reskinned game in american version, i personally owned japanese one, so for example in the fightning stage they fight in the street and in original is just karate in some temple, also character skin tone is different, i guess they wanted to make them look tan lol. its ok i guess, maybe they wanted to make reference to that indie underground kunio game but kunio in karate gi looked pretty cool.
also on the official website it says something about double dragon III, wow!
does it mean we get also double dragon games? i think is possible... since double dragon characters are now part of kunio universe...
the only games that will be missing now are snes ones, there were some pretty good titles like: kunio tetris, or escaping from prison.
So . . . the site for this collection[www.kuniokun.jp] does indeed show the Steam logo (also Xbox One despite only about 3 people in Japan owning an Xbone).
Per the Kunio-kun wiki on Fandom[kuniokun.fandom.com], citing the Arc System Works webpage, ASW decided to sell the PC version of collection through the Japanese site dmm.com instead of Steam -- however a search of that site for くにおくん or 熱血 yielded nothing (well, save some episodes of what appears to be a live-action teledrama which the machine-translated English version of the site renders "Fiery zeal hardliner kuniokun"), and the direct links from the Arc System Works site all throw 404s.
English translated release on PS4 & Switch launched a month or so ago. This has the same games as the Japanese collection: the 11 Famicom Kunio-kun titles, here fairly literally translated (with "Nekketsu" apparently treated as a proper name and just romanised in the titles, possibly on the grounds that anyone who's sufficiently into this franchise to pay 30 quid for a collection of emulated NES games knows what it means), the localised NES versions of four that actually got contemporary localisations (Nintendo World Cup, which was a heavily modified version of the soccer game, is omitted because Nintendo), with 3 Double Dragon games thrown in as filler & for additional name recognition (translated bundle is marketed as "Double Dragon and Kunio-Kun Retro Brawler Bundle"). Zero official word on a PC release of the translations.
As you mention in your later post, there's still a few Super Famicom titles (e.g. Kunio-tachi no Banka) that have no official translated release.
I played that on NES , it was hard for me but a solid game
